Hear me when I say a mother-child’s relation is eternal. It’s way above anything and everything because the cord never actually cuts off. They both carry pieces of each other wherever they go.
It took me the birth of my daughter to realize how much alike I am to my mom. How much I want to parent my child just like my mom. How easily I would give away the world only to have her by my side whenever my darling cried. Like the time when Pihu caught the worst fever all I wanted to do was run to my mom and let her take away my girl’s pain. Because that’s how moms are. They can do anything. They are powerhouses of magic, hope and all things yummy.
Even though they will toil all throughout life to give you the best, a mom’s heart will just never rest. Their hands will never feel dry. The smell of their hair will always remain the same and the glow of their smile will forever warm your soul. Their arms will always outstretch to envelop you in the tightest of hugs. Their laugh you will always know.
And, no matter where you go or wherever life takes you, your mom will always lend you her unnerving support. Well, to be true, she’d gift you her life if she could. That’s how moms are. Always ready to take their child’s pain away. They wont think twice seeing you off as you go chasing your dreams though inside she’d be extremely worried. But whenever you’d call, she’ll know, oh she’ll know exactly how your day is going. She will catch the undertones of your tone or the gulp of your stomach by just hearing your voice and not only that, they can easily narrate what all you were to say because they know, they know you oh so well that they just know exactly how you’d behave in any given situation whatsoever. They just know. They know everything.
They aren’t just creators of you but they’re truly designers of your soul and destiny. They chart your life story by every soft kiss they lay on your cheek as you doze of to sleep. They frame your persona by the bedtime reads they bless you with. They instill persistence, determination and independence when they let you make mistakes no matter how painful it is for them to bear. Moms just are so and so much more.
A lifetime just isn’t enough to understand their core for it comes from their moms and theirs from theirs and so on. Moms are carriers of legacies and legacies of love and dedication. Maybe that’s why grandma’s love is so, so special. Moms are just a big love multiplication.
They are actually what one spends their whole life to build – a home. Yes, moms are home. A forever home. Your home.
Moms are like that
I wish I become that
Like my mom
my sweet home.
